Artemisa conducts research in Cluster B: The relationship of value chain reconfiguration with interdependent growth regimes and effects on economic and social resilience. Together with Stefanie Lorenzen, she is working on an analysis of the impact of the Due Diligence Act. She holds a Master of Science in Political Theory from the University of Tirana and a Master of Arts in Global Political Economy from the University of Kassel. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Political Science from the University of Tirana, Albania. In addition to her academic work, Artemisa has worked for NGOs and civil society networks (Entwicklungspolitisches Netzwerk Sachsen and Clean Clothes Campaign), and as a freelance researcher and trainer. Artemisa conducts research at the interface of international political economy and development studies. She is particularly interested in international trade and development policy, Global Garment Value Chains as well as international trade unions and labor rights. The regional focus of her work is Eastern Europe and Turkey.
